Nebbiolo Terre Alfieri DOCG “Corrado Giovine” 2020

Raudonas sausas vynas Nebbiolo Terre Alfieri DOCG “Corrado Giovine” 2020

Nebbiolo is one of the most noble black grape varieties, native to Piedmont, which produces some among the most iconic Italian red wines with an excellent attitude for aging, such as Barolo and Barbaresco. The very slow maturation of the grapes until late autumn, the season of fog (“nebbia” in Italian), is at the origin of its name.

Nebbiolo wine, still and dry, has a slightly transparent ruby red color which changes to garnet over the years. An impeccable balance between body, acidity and aromas, enhanced by characteristic tannins, make it excellent in combination with important dishes, especially red meat-based ones, including game.

The wine we offer is a "Terre Alfieri DOCG", a Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin, the highest level of protection in the Italian wine classification, reserved for excellent wines that meet the strict requirements of the production specification following chemical-physical analyses, organoleptic and sensory controls.

The Nebbiolo Terre Alfieri DOCG "Corrado Giovine" vintage 2020 was made in an exclusive and limited series of 300 numbered bottles, with 100% Nebbiolo grapes. Aged in steel then 6 months in the bottle and dedicated to Corrado, the son of Luigi Giovine, inspired by whom Vinogio began his exciting adventure.
